I've noticed a shift in my spending as I started gravitating towards more companies and brands that are ethical and sustainable. I immediately noticed that meant an increase of price overall for a product. However, because of this it allows me to spend more intentional and not just because. Let's be #ethicalgal all 2020!
I've decided to put together an intentional summer wish list to help keep me on track of what I *actually* want. Hopefully you find something that you like as well! This is not sponsored by anyone.

1. Teflar Small Yellow Shopping Bag ($150)- I love this small bag! It's not only adorable but it gives me summer vibes in the city, on the beach and hanging out with friends. The company was started by a black designer by the name of Teflar Clemons and his bags are hyped and nicknamed as the "Bushwick Birkin". I would like to flex and join the hype train.
2. Structure Floppy Hat with Removable Ties ($11.20)- Asos, yes the problematic fave. I was searching for a hat that resembled my character's hat on Animal Crossing(obsessed!) and found this adorable piece. The straps are essential and gives me the visual of summer days filled with bike riding and picnics. (Help! I am open to suggestions of more ethical brands, really trying to stop supporting fast fashion)
3. Classic Printed Floral Croc Clog ($48)- Floral print always gets me. I saw these on Shana Bea whose amazing and has her own fashion brand/line that I love. When I saw her in these I wouldn't have thought in what dimension I would want a pair of Crocs, but as mentioned, the floral got me. Also, for comfort...always about comfort.
4. Superga 2790 Platform Sneaker ($80)- I've loved platform sneakers since 2011 when Jeffrey Campbell was all the rave and he designed his platform 'Converse' looking sneaker. I love the added height and it just brings a little fun to any outfit.
5. Keyboard Typewriter ($36)- My goal for the summer is to continue being productive in whatever I put my mind to. So I saw how aesthetically pleasing and comfortable this keyboard is. Imagine how cute it'll look on a desk!
6. Justine Legold Jewelry (charm necklace, $360) (rings, $60)- Justine hand-crafts her jewelry which is made 100% of gold. As I get older I want to invest in more real jewelry, that I can wash my hands in and take a shower in without it turning green. Besides the point, I really like supporting smaller business and this creator is definitely not going to be small for long!
7. Kala Ukulele ($54.99)- I owned a Ukulele for quite sometime, when one day it fell off its holder and snapped in half. I've been wanting another one for a long time. I still have many Adventure Time songs to learn.
8. Anthropologie Floral Fragrance Jar ($58)- The dual serve of this jar! It makes your room look and smell amazing. I love the colors and it'll look so nice on a small table or bookshelf. The scent is Giant Lotus/ Garden Tangerine.
9. Ikea KNIPSA Basket, seagrass (14.99)- Love the look of this basket, I would like to add more earthy tones to my bedroom and add items that will be easy to transfer when I do move out.
10. Polaroid Color Film for 600 ($18.99)- My parents old Polaroid camera was discovered a few years back but I've only gotten film for it once. This summer I want to spice up my photography skills and enjoy the authentic look from Polaroids, not from an app.
